The HR Whisperer

In her day job, Heather Vogel, MHR, SPHR is President of Vogel & Vogel, Inc., an organization development consulting  firm that  located  in Bradenton, FL.  Her alter-ego is the HR Whisperer who blogs on all things related to rehabilitating  organizations and  developing talent.  Heather has 20+ years of HR/OD leadership experience across corporate and nonprofits – so she gets it from both sides of the financial equation.  When she’s not focusing on employee behavior, she likes looking  for the next big HR idea and watching her kids  beat the pants off the completion in lacross and swimming.

Heather is president of Vogel & Vogel, Inc., (VVI) a human resources and organization development (HR/OD) firm located in Bradenton, Florida. For more than 10 years, VVI has partnered with individuals and organizations to provide strategic human resources solutions that cultivate talent, optimize performance, foster outstanding results and strengthen competitive position. An award-winning consultant, trainer and motivator, she is passionate about “nurturing potential” by rehabilitating organizations and developing people. Heather has 20+ years experience maximizing performance with programs that increase organizational ROI with diverse partners such as AT&T, Beall’s, Inc., Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Physicians United Plan, the School Districts of Naples and Sarasota, FL and the Town of Longboat Key.

A certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, Heather received her MA with Academic Distinction in Human Resources from Webster University and her BA with Liberal Arts Honors from Moravian College. She is currently president-elect executive council member with the HR Florida State Council and a past president of the Sarasota-Manatee HR Association. Additionally, Heather is an academic advisor and adjunct professor with Webster University’s School of Business & Technology where she teaches Master’s courses in HR, Management and Leadership.
